Static mixers are devices without moving parts that are inserted directly into the pipe with flanges allowing mixing two or more fluids, getting homogenize the mixture and reducing radial differences in concentration, velocity and temperature.
The equipment works by means of the presence of a fixed internal elements that, because of the flow of fluid through them, mix the different layers of fluid.
There are several types of internal elements, depending on the characteristics of each application or process. Additionally, it is possible to manufacture different construction features depending on the specific process requirements: side inlets, heating jackets, removable internals elements for cleaning, etc..
